Acrolinx IQ 2 is a major update that makes managing information quality even easier. Version 2 brings advances in usability, integration and collaboration. Here is what's new:

Acrolinx IQ Terminology

Users can contribute new terms to the terminology database via a simplified online form:
  • Term Contribution feature has customizable default fields, appearance and privileges
  • Term Contribution functionality can be integrated with external applications
Users can add comments to existing terms:
  • Comments can be viewed in the Term Browser and the term help file
  • Adding comments can be restricted to specific users
  • "Review requested" process status can be set when a new comment is added to a term

Acrolinx IQ Reuse

The Acrolinx IQ Reuse module is now much more integrated and easy to use:
  • Direct import of text and translation memory files (TMX) to create reuse repositories
  • Added a property to activate/deactivate spelling, grammar, style and terminology checking of reuse sentences
  • Create empty reuse repositories to directly import sentences or manually create clusters in a new repository
  • Redesigned user interface and added additional help files
  • Reuse Leverage metric for measuring sentence and translation memory reuse

New Plug-in SDK and Java Client API

  • New Acrolinx IQ Plug-in SDK for faster plug-in development
  • New Java client API for more Acrolinx IQ integrations

Acrolinx IQ Batch Checker

  • Check & Apply feature allows batch editing of spelling and terminology across any number of documents
  • Crawl entire websites and check for spelling, grammar, style, terminology and reuse issues
  • Improved text extraction of PDF files 

New Acrolinx IQ Desktop Checker

  • Works with all Windows text-based applications
  • Check content copied to the clipboard from any application
  • Acrolinx IQ Corrections dialog box allows easy editing of spelling, grammar, style, terminology and reuse issues
