San Jose, Calif. — November 3, 2015 — Acrolinx today announced a series of new integrations that extend the power of content optimization throughout the enterprise. Spanning a wide variety of content authoring tools such as Google Docs, Microsoft Word, and Adobe InDesign, these solutions enable content creators across the enterprise to leverage the Acrolinx platform as part of their diverse content creation processes.

According to the “2015 B2B Benchmarks, Budgets, and Trends — North America” report from the Content Marketing Institute and MarketingProfs, 55 percent of B2B marketers plan to increase their content marketing budgets over the coming year. Of this group, 9 percent plan to increase their budgets significantly. This is just one of many data points that illustrates the continuing growth of content marketing.

“Today, almost every function in the enterprise is involved in the content creation process on some level,” said Ulrich Callmeier, Acrolinx COO. “These new integrations will make it easier for different departments such as marketing, support, training, and corporate communications to create more consistent, high-quality content — all from within their existing content authoring tools.”

Some of the integrations also add the new Acrolinx sidebar to familiar content authoring tools. As writers develop content, the Acrolinx sidebar allows them to check their content and correct any issues, access the Acrolinx Scorecard, configure their Acrolinx options, and get help.

All told, Acrolinx has released more than 20 integrations so far in 2015, including XMetaL, oXygen, Adobe InDesign, SonarQube, Microsoft Word for Mac, WordPress, Adobe FrameMaker, and Google Docs.

“Our vision is to support every tool where content is created,” said Dr. Andrew Bredenkamp, Acrolinx Founder and CEO. “With these latest integrations, as well as a number of others we plan to release later this year, we’re another step closer to fulfilling that vision.”
