acrolinx holds third User Conference in Berlin
Berlin, May 10th 2008. The third International acrolinx User
Conference brought more than 50 visitors from 35 companies and
organizations to the Sony Center in Berlin. The three-day event was
organized jointly by acrolinx and aQuatic, the independent acrolinx
User Group.
The event was divided into three parts. The first day consisted of workshops on topics such as building corporate terminology, and intelligent reuse. The workshops were run as skill sessions and were offered in English and German. The second day was dedicated exclusively to user discussions without the presence of acrolinx staff. On the third day Andrew Bredenkamp presented the vision for the future of acrolinx products, the users and acrolinx then discussed current and future requirements. The product roadmap for the next 18 months was discussed in detail with all participants.
The acrolinx User Conference takes place every year, attendance has doubled since the first conference in 2006.
Since many more German and English companies are joining the group shortly, the user conference will probably be more focused in future towards the different needs of English and German users.
