2006 most successful year in company history
Berlin, November 1, 2006. 2006 has been the most successful year in the history of acrolinx GmbH. More than 1500 editors and over 30 well-known companies use acrocheck™ worldwide. Sales have doubled as compared to last year.
Recipe for success: checking the source language
Skepticism reigned when at the beginning of 2004 acrolinx began talking with prospective customers about consistency in the source language. Can technology like this actually work? And can investing in such a system be justified from a business perspective? Today these doubts have long been laid to rest. Systems for linguistic quality assurance in technical documentation have been adopted very positively everywhere. The ROI is between 10-30 % thereby winning over even company controllers. Industry experts are convinced: in the future, electronic editing will be as much a part of the current infrastructure for technical editing as professional editors and editing systems.
acrolinx acknowledged market leader
acrolinx is acknowledged worldwide as the market leader. Independent studies, such as the tekom software survey, also confirm this image. "Things are looking excellent for us in 2007 as well," says Andrew Bredenkamp, managing director at acrolinx. "We have a lot of interesting projects in the pipeline. But the best thing is that success has given us the economic potential to continue improving acrocheck™ using all our available resources. We have a lot of ideas for the future." This also means that company headquarters in Berlin will continue to grow. In order to implement the many new ideas and plans, new offices and employees are needed.
