As 2019 winds down, it’s natural to spend some time thinking about the year that was and the new year that’s upon us. It’s no secret that metrics matter. But have you been paying attention to the right ones? It’s easy for content creators to get caught up in vanity metrics like page views, likes, and shares that don’t actually mean that much. A better idea is to focus on the metrics that truly matter to your company’s bottom line, such as conversion metrics. SEO is something on every content creator’s radar, but that doesn’t mean it gets the attention it deserves. Make 2020 the year that you win the main keywords that matter for your company. While optimizing all of your web pages is a good place to start (and here’s some basic advice on how to do that), to win the war for first page rankings on Google, you need to take a more advanced approach.
