The Problem
Schneider Electric has authoring teams in several worldwide locations who handle their technical documentation. English was chosen as the source language for all documentation. Because both native and non-native speakers created content, quality and style varied greatly.
The Solution
Schneider Electric integrated customized grammar and style rules for global English into Acrolinx content optimization software. As an automated copy editing system, Acrolinx is deployed at two stages of the content creation process. First, the technical authoring teams use the software to check the content they create. In a second stage, Schneider Electric uses the software to run preliminary checks before sending the documents to the internal reviews.
