San Jose, Calif. — February 1, 2017 — Acrolinx today announced open registration for Content Connections 2017, its flagship event for content professionals. Bringing together a combination of industry thought leaders and content practitioners from some of the world’s best-known brands, the conference is designed to help participants better understand big trends in content.

Held online as a virtual conference for the past two years, 2017 marks the first time the event is being held live. It will take place in San Jose, California, on May 1–3, as well as in Berlin, Germany on May 15 (in English) and May 16 (in German). The theme of this year’s conference will be the power of high-impact content.

“We’re delighted to be hosting Content Connections live for the very first time,” said Dr. Andrew Bredenkamp, CEO, Founder, and Chairman of Acrolinx. “We’re putting together an exciting agenda that includes some really inspirational speakers, interesting case studies, and panel discussions, all focused on helping our attendees gain new insights and expertise in content.”

Among the topics to be covered at this year’s conference include:

  • Customer/User experience
  • Content governance
  • Adaptive content/personalization
  • Agile methodology
  • Content reuse
  • Scaling and operationalizing content
  • Findability
  • Localization

The conference will be held at the San Jose Marriott in the US and at the Meliá Hotel Berlin in Germany. While the virtual version of the event attracted more than 2,000 attendees in each of the past two years, the company expects several hundred content professionals to attend this first live event.
